2011 Soccer Camp Dates & Other Info

We would like to inform you that it is official... the dates of the soccer camp are August 1st-5th, from 3-5PM.

Our summer has been fairly rainy so far, but we are hoping for the best for August. If you have any questions, please e-mail us by the emails on your flyer.

2011 Soccer Camp

Summer 2011 is getting busier and busier by the day! Lots of family trips, and even seeing the Women's World Cup is in a coaches schedule! We are trying to squeeze a soccer camp in, and we'll keep you posted on the dates. It just might have to be in a different month this year!

Meeting Mia Hamm

This October, Brenna and Jenna (and our very helpful assistants Ani & Lauren) raised enough money to travel to Connecticut to meet our soccer idol, Mia Hamm! We got a chance to get something signed, play a 10 minute game either with or against her, and if your question was chosen, you got to go up and ask her it! Brenna and Ani got the privilege to ask her their questions! We all had a great experience!!Remember, her motto is "play hard, play fair!"

Lot's of parents (and siblings!) helped out with our soccer camp this year. Ani M., Lauren B., and Jen M. all helped take every single picture you see on the blog (Scott B. also took some of the Parents vs. Kids game while Ani and Lauren were playing)! We thanked Ani and Lauren and gave them each $5. Thanks again, and here are some pictures of our helpers!

Certificates and Parents vs. Kids!

Each kid got a certificate and a picture/card-like thing. They also played the parents (and beat them!)! Here are some pictures from the end of the camp.

Reminders!

Thanks, Mother Nature, for outstanding weather all throughout the week. I don't know about Friday, but it's been nice and sunny Monday-Thursday!

Parents, remember to come at 5:00PM tomorrow (Friday) to play Parents vs. Kids! The game will be 20 minutes long. We will then have a ceremony, where kids get certificates. After we will say our goodbyes and have some yummy refreshments! (Please bring one yourself!)
